Bill, Harriet and daughter Susan Phelps moved to Mannford in 1969 where they purchased Mannford Trading Post and Susan continues to run the family business today as Phelps Market.
The late Bill Phelps was Mannford's first Citizen of the Year. He was liked by everyone because of his caring and genuine heart for the community. The original values set forth by Bill Phelps are still in place today as Susan focuses on serving and caring for the community. Partnering with AWG, the state's largest distributor, Phelps is striving to bring customers the lowest prices possible, maintaining excellence in customer service.
